Experiments with bubble chain

LIF experiments

In these experiments CO2 and air bubble chains were generated with a single stainless steel nozzle (id=0.25 mm) placed in the centre of the sparger plate.

In all cases the bubble column was filled with 11.3 l of a solution and the bubbles rise in a stagnant liquid.

For a better spatial resolution, the bubble column has been divided into two measurement sections.

For detailed description and results please choose a reaction system (CO2 or air) from the menu on the top.
